About ClimateSense

The ClimateSense team represent the Stakeholders and Administrative partners of this NRCan Brace Initiative. The team has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area of Climate Change Adaptation, its implementation in local and national projects and policies, and is committed to providing adaptation learning and development specific to Prince Edward Island.

Our Team

Adam Fenech

Dr. Adam Fenech is the Interim Dean of the School of Climate Change & Adaptation at the University of Prince Edward Island, and the Director of the UPEI Climate Lab. 

Ross Dwyer

Ross Dwyer is the ClimateSense Project Coordinator, and Project Manager for the School of Climate Change & Adaptation at the University of Prince Edward Island.

Krystal Pike

Krystal Pike, BSc, BEd, MAEEC, is the Intern Professional Development Coordinator for the ClimateSense Internship Program. They are committed to providing dynamic experimental learning opportunities that integrate science-based evidence, historical context, and differentiated knowledge practices to help individuals and communities confront complex ecological issues.

Stephanie Arnold

Stephanie Arnold, BASc, MBA, is a PhD student and researcher with the UPEI Climate Research Lab. Her research areas include dynamic climate change adaptation for potato production and evaluation of climate change adaptive capacity.

Olivia Inman

Olivia is a final year student at the University of Prince Edward Island, and is the ClimateSense Communications & Social Media Coordinator.

Erin Taylor

Erin Taylor is the Director of the ClimateSense Program and the Manager of the Climate Change Secretariat for PEI's Department of Environment, Water, and Climate Change.

Peter Nishimura

Peter is a Senior Climate Change Adaptation Policy Advisor with the PEI Department of Environment, Water, and Climate Change. 

Hope Parnham

Hope is a Senior Climate Change Adaptation Policy Advisor with the PEI Department of Environment, Water, and Climate Change. 

Heather MacLeod

Heather MacLeod, P.Eng, is the Director of Energy Policy and Assets at PEI's Department of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy. 

Mary Finch

Mary Finch is the Watershed Ecologist with the PEI Watershed Alliance and PEI's Department of Environment, Water, and Climate Change. 

Philip Jefferson

Philip Jefferson, MA, MArch, MAAPEI, is an architect for PEI's Department of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy.
